The Louisville Baháʼí community invites you to celebrate the Declaration of the Báb (pronounced bŏb) a Baháʼí holy day observed annually on May 23. In the city of Shiraz, Persia in 1844, The Báb (Siyyid ‘Alí-Muhammad), one of the two Founders of the Bahá’í Faith, declared His two-fold mission as the bearer of a divine revelation and the Herald of the Promised One to appear after Him, Baháʼu'lláh. His message of unity and the oneness of humanity inaugurated a new stage in the social evolution of humanity while also renewing the eternal covenant of God previously brought by His many Messengers including Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad.
Program will be held in-person at the Louisville Bahá'í Center.
